New Samsung Galaxy A80 128 GB Silver

Review of the smartphone Samsung Galaxy A80 with a PTZ camera Samsung has finally put things in order in the budget segment of its mobile products and has issued an orderly line of Galaxy A smartphones in the new season, combining several families into one. (Only the Galaxy M line now stands apart, but this is a separate topic, it was specially created for online sales.) Until the last moment, there were 7 models in the line: Galaxy A10 - Galaxy A70, in a slender row of which one can clearly see the increase in the level of technical capabilities with each next serial number. Moreover, these models are issued to the market slowly, in ascending order of their technical advancement. Until recently, the most powerful model in the lineup was considered the Galaxy A70, but more recently the family was replenished with an even more technically advanced and, moreover, rather unusual device called the Galaxy A80, which will be our story today. The Samsung Galaxy A80 is a large and heavy mobile device for smartphone lovers with the largest scr New Samsung Galaxy A80 128 GB Silver eens possible. It hardly fits in the hand, it is naturally impossible to work with the screen with one hand, but the developers tried to fit a screen with a huge diagonal into these dimensions, so the size is justified. The smartphone is quite easily soiled due to smooth surfaces, but at the same time it is not slippery. Nevertheless, it still does not hold well in the hand, since the sides are too narrowed - for good grip with the palm, the side edges must be wider and flatter. The body itself is made of glass, the movable part with the camera is made of plastic, all frames are metal. In general, the design is pleasant and austere, the smartphone looks expensive and solid. It uses the familiar metal side frame with a shape that changes from the top and bottom ends to the sides, and two Gorilla Glass panels. However, all this is complemented by a radically new element - a retractable and rotating unit with camera modules, sensors, and LED flashes. The block with cameras automatically pops out when the front camera is turned on: the upper rear part of the case moves upward, like a slider (with the difference that not the entire rear half of the case moves, but only part of it). In the process of this extension, the camera module itself is rotated by the lenses towards the user's face. The motorized drive used for this operation, of course, wastes battery power, but if you do not take selfies a hundred times a day, the contribution of this element to the discharge of the battery is unlikely to be significant. On the other hand, the most popular type of authentication at the moment is using face recognition, so most users simply cannot do without a front camera, even if they do not like to photograph themselves. In their case, the camera will slide out and rotate each time the smartphone is raised to your face, and there is nothing you can do about it. According to the creators, developing a smartphone with a retractable and at the same time cranking camera has become a daunting task. To avoid the solution with two separate motors, Samsung has developed a locking “teeth”, hook and bridge mechanism that requires no additional parts while preventing premature rotation. This innovative technology led to the optimization of the motor to be capable of vertical sliding and rotating the camera. In order to save space on the screen, the A80 not only made a slide-out unit with cameras, sensors and flashes, but also completely removed the earpiece. Its function here is performed by the screen itself: sound vibrations are transmitted through it directly to the ear. The hardware buttons on the sidewalls are large, smooth, the surface texture does not differ from each other, but they have a clear response. The only pity is that they were installed on different sidewalls, and not on one, like the A70. The fingerprint scanner is subscreen here, it works slower than the "classic" one, but it seems that developers with this tendency cannot be stopped. Two Nano-SIM cards can be inserted into the side tray at the same time, without support for microSD memory cards. We'll have to be content with the built-in memory of 128 GB. Hot swap of cards is supported. Almost all the elements are located at the bottom end: a speaker, a microphone, a USB Type-C connector and a slot for installing cards. There is no 3.5 mm audio output for headphones in the smartphone at all, so you can only find an additional microphone o https://jiji.com.et/kirkos/mobile-phones/new-samsung-galaxy-a80-128-gb-silver-aidNNfQIJPJKAvBEnqAWC8ye.html
