Gts Brand in Ghana

The three letters GTS in the name of the modifications that all Porsche models have since recently stand for Gran Turismo Sport - something like a "sports car for travel". However, among the modern carriers of the GTS nameplate there is a large Cayenne all-terrain vehicle, a five-meter Panamera hatchback, and a small Boxster roadster, on which not everyone will travel further to Moscow Raceway. We have traveled on all modern "gi-ti-esks" and figured out which one is the best. The history of the GTS letters began in 1963, when Porsche launched the mid-engined Porsche 904 Carrera GTS coupe with a lightweight fiberglass body that hides a 198 horsepower racing four-cylinder engine. The car, built to win touring car races, weighed just 655 kilograms and came about thanks to the FIA's requirement for automakers to produce a homologation series of at least 100 cars. In Porsche, however, they decided not to be too zealous and released only 106 copies of the 904 in the GTS version, although at first they were going to make about 200 cars. The second time about th Gts Brand in Ghana e legendary letters (and 904 GTS in its short history managed to win many races, including the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans) in Porsche was remembered in the 80s, having assembled a limited series of 59 front-engined coupes Porsche 924 GTS. These cars were also equipped with a two-liter four-cylinder engine, but already with a turbocharger, and produced from 245 to 270 horsepower (with the Clubsport package). Left - Porsche 928 GTS, right - 924 GTS All GTS versions of modern models are distinguished by more powerful engines, a retuned chassis, a special body kit and a rich set of equipment that is included in the basic equipment. Then there was a series of front-engined Porsche 928 GTS, which turned out to be quite successful - 2,904 cars from 1992 to 1995. But Porsche's marketers really took on the GTS line in 2007, releasing the GTS version of their only front-engined model at the time, the Cayenne SUV. Moreover, the package of improvements for the "Cayenne" was not limited to nameplates on the body: the off-road vehicle received a very stiff spring suspension "in the base" (air bellows came for a surcharge), loud release and boosted to 405 hp. atmospheric V8, which could be ordered even with "mechanics". Yes, it was not the fastest and not the most powerful Cayenne of that time - the Cayenne Turbo version already ten years ago gave out 500 forces, and the Turbo S - in general 520, but it was the GTS version that turned out to be extremely successful: the entire Russian quota was sold out at the start of sales, and in other countries, the GTS sold well. And it rushed ... In 2010, the 911 got a version of the GTS; in 2011, the Panamera received a similar modification, which was equipped with a 430-horsepower naturally aspirated V8 and a retuned chassis that allowed it to develop lateral acceleration up to 0.96g. Then the letters GTS reached the smallest ones - Porsche Boxster and Cayman. But what's behind the GTS logo today? This is the first car in the GTS line to break away from tradition and swap out the rumbling naturally aspirated V8 for a 3.6 turbocharged six with twin superchargers that produces 440 hp. and 600 Nm. The new engine, of course, no longer looks like a drunken Scandinavian, demanding "a couple more" in a closing bar: instead of a furious roar at high revs, it gives out only a dull growl and relish a pair of double-barreled muffler when changing gears. But the new turbo-GTS turned out faster than the previous one (5.1 seconds with the Sport Chrono package versus 5.7 seconds with the aspirated) and more economical (almost a liter), and it certainly rides just as well. Because the chassis here is also modified: the spring suspension is lower and stiffer than the standard one (-24 mm), and the optional pneumatic suspension (-20 mm) has undergone a total reconfiguration. At the same time, the characteristics of the anti-roll bars were revised, and the control unit for all-wheel drive and active rear differential (it comes as an option) was reprogrammed with an emphasis on rear-wheel drive handling. And ... oh yes, it works! With a lighter and more compact turbo engine, the Cayenne GTS is ready to have breakfast with a couple of Spanish serpentines and ask for more. Effort on the steering wheel and feedback are close to exemplary - you feel the hook of the front wheels very clearly. If you do everything right at the entrance to the turn, then the nose wil https://jiji.com.gh/brand/gts
